How does the Tasksfy platform work?

You register as a client and request services from various service providers based on their portfolios and predefined service charges. As a client, you send images of tasks ahead, and the service provider responds with a quotation. You secure the amount on the platform, and once the task is completed, payment is credited to the provider.

How can I get started?

Visit the Play Store on your Android phone, download the Tasksfy application, and create an account.

How much does it cost to download and use Tasksfy?

There are no charges for downloading or registering on Tasksfy.

As a client, will I be charged for using the app?

The app is free to use, but when you request a service, you must secure the agreed amount. TasksFy charges 5% for convenience.

As a client, can I change the task request location?

Yes, you can specify the task location when requesting a service, but once the request is sent, changing the location is not possible.

As a client, can I cancel my task request?

Cancellation is allowed but may result in fees if done within 24 hours but more than 3 hours before the scheduled start time.

How do I request a service?

Use the search bar to explore service categories, choose a tasker, and place an order.

How can I become a tasker (service provider)?

Download the Tasksfy app from the Play Store on your Android phone. Create an account, upgrade your profile to become a tasker, and choose the skills you're proficient in. Submit the necessary certificates and documents for vetting, which takes 3-5 business days.

How long does it take for my tasker application to be approved?

It takes 3-5 business days due to the document verification and vetting process.

As a tasker, what happens when I want to add a new skill set?

You can update your profile and send it for approval.

Who is eligible to be a tasker (service provider)?

Anyone offering home, office, casual labor, event, or technical services. Check the different service categories for your skill.

As a tasker, what happens if I decline a request?

First-time declination can harm your opportunities. Taskers should switch off their profiles when unavailable to avoid request expirations or declines.

What documents do I need to become a verified tasker?

Upload a government ID, a valid certificate of good conduct, a recent passport photo, relevant service certificates, and referrals. The vetting process takes 3-5 business days and includes a meeting for soft skills training.

Do all service providers have the same predefined rates?

No, each service provider sets their own rates.

How do I make payments?

The service provider will review your order, send a quotation, and after negotiation, you'll secure the agreed amount on the platform using M-Pesa.

Can I negotiate an order price with the service provider?

Yes, negotiation can take place in a chat room or on-site once the service provider sees the task. The tasker updates the price, and the client secures the new amount.

Can I negotiate an order price outside the platform?

Yes, but it is at your own risk and violates Tasksfy's terms and conditions.

Can I pay in cash for a service?

No, payment is only via M-Pesa on the app.

How long does it take to receive payment after completing a task?

After completing a task, payment is automatically credited to your wallet. The funds are available for withdrawal at any time.

What if a service provider doesn't deliver as expected?

TasksFy guarantees quality or offers a 100% cashback.

How are service providers vetted?

Through IPRS integration and a five-stage verification process, including one-on-one vetting sessions.

What is IPRS?

IPRS stands for Integrated Population Registration Database System, used for data verification and credibility.

How can I deactivate my TasksFy account?
